Manufacturing Execution System

Bausch & Lomb required a system to control their manufacturing process, and provide information interfaces with their ERP systems. Dataworks was secured as their software development partner in order to achieve their ambitious goal and to meet their very aggressive timelines.

Business Intelligence Solution

A large medical device company in Co. Cork utilised Project Portfolio Management software to manage vast numbers of ideas, charters and projects worldwide across multiple sites. The inability to easily filter information, and the lack of visualisation, led the client to secure Dataworks to develop an innovative solution that would allow them to visualise the data produced in an easily digestible pipeline format, while also giving them greater control by being able to drill down and analyse the data as required.

Statistical Process Control

Dataworks designed a solution which utilises Wireless PDA units incorporating built in barcode scanning capabilities. The PDA Data Collection application enables users on the shop floor to collect the data in a quick and flexible manner while moving within the manufacturing cell. This method of data collection is quicker than the previous manual process and feeds real time data into WinSPC.
